Parking is on the street, or some people I saw parking in Jack in the Box lot right next door.

Tiny hole in the way place. Went last night around 8pm, place was packed! Couple outside tables. And maybe a dozen tables inside with a bunch of seats at the sushi bar.

Upon seating they give you a dish of chilled edamame to snack on.

We started with the following:
Maguro Dynamite (Ahi Tuna) - $12
california roll under a spicy maguro and mayo mix baked and topped with kabayaki sauce and kaiware

-BOMB. I don't even like california rolls, but the topping of spicy maguro was pure winnarz.

Spicy Tuna Maki - $7
maguro, spicy mayo mix,
cucumber and kaiware

-Bleh, No taste. Negatives on this one.

I had the Chicken Katsu Teishoku @ $15.95. Was flavorful. Soaked in buttermilk kind of like a southern fried chicken. Batter wasn't only panko, so it was lighter and more flavorful. However the chicken was pounded super thin. Was tasty, but there just wasn't enough chicken.

Friend had the Broiled Salmon @ $15.95. She said was moist and very flavorful.

Each of our teishoku's came with the standard miso soup and rice. There was also a salad with their own house dressing which was perhaps the best i have ever had. There was also an appetizer which the girl said changes daily. last nite was a furikake salmon. I didnt taste it, but my friend said she liked it.

Bill came out to $55 without tip. Def gonna hit this place up again. Was awesome.

Will post pics later

So the new menu kicks ass. Lots more items availabe and combos too.

We started with the firecracker shrimp, which was NOT worth the 12 dollars. tinnnnyy pieces of shrimp.

I had the chicken karaage/shrimp/vegetable tempura combo. chicken served with chili mayo. Tempura had 2 shrimp, 1 pumpkin, 1 carrot, one green bean, one eggplant, and one okinawan sweet potato.

Friend had the tempura/furikake salmon combo.

Meals were also served with edamame, ocean salad, ginger, and soup.

Total not including tip came out to $63.00

Def going back, food is winner. Rivals Kunios...
